Reviews for "Dropple"

nothing special

The controls are generally unresponsive and stubborn, which makes the gameplay unnecessarily frustrating. Together with a set of rather gloomy backgrounds and a tedious music loop, it makes for a pretty depressing experience

Some color, speed and stability would do alot for the replay value, as for now it's pretty much non-existant

Rough

This game depends upon level design to keep players playing and unfortunately, that's the game's biggest fault. There needs to be based on some physics. Not necessarily real-time physics, just to lend a little reality. It is accessible to anyone, which is plus.

I got bored

I got bored at level 6. I didn't thimk it was unique enough!

Yes...

I'm angry...

Who said this had anything to do with physics? Right, a hedgehog named sonic is possible to run at very high speeds... or a plumber is able to pop out a fireball or wear a racoon suit and suddenly be able to fly. It's a game... stop being over-critical.

I played for an hour or so, it is pretty tough after a while, but still fun. I respect anything that took this much time put into it. Thanks for the submit.

Very Hard (to stay awake)

In the game and in the author comments, it says that the difficulty scales up very quickly. I'll tell you that that is a load of baloney. There were only a handful of levels that required strategy and/or skill. Also, right after a harder level, there would be an extremely easy one waiting. That aside, I'm giving this a 3 because there were two bugs that I found to just kill any positive thoughts i had about this. If your ball lands close to a corner, instead of bouncing, it slides along the side as if nothing were beneath it. Other times, i would hit corners (including those of blocks in the middle of stacks) and bounce off in a random direction. On levels where precision was key, these two problems were only magnified.
In the end, it was a very boring game for me - but in all fairness I did play through and beat all 50 levels.

I think you should definitely consider reworking the levels to be as challenging as you say they are. By the way, it really couldn't have been improved graphically, so props for that.
