Reviews for "Dropple"

simple but horribly addictive

I loved this and hated it synoymously. It's great fun and very addictive yet frustratingly difficult in places. If you were to redo this I would suggest tweaking the handling a little just to make movement that bit easier.

Who said this was Earth's physics?

Seriously, you're controlling a living ball, and for all you know it's made out of wacky styrofoam. Either way the physics really isn't that bad, I just replayed to level 19 [hardest level for me] straight through without messing up [until i got to level 19 of course]. What does irritate me though is the glitching of the platforms. If you have two jumping platforms side by side and jump in the middle things bounce differently. Then there's the whole you go to far to the side the ball magically slips off it [that upsetted me most]. Because of these bugs the games rating went to a 7. The music wasn't annoying in my opinion, but if it did you can just turn it off. Beginning animation and artwork looked good and the sound effects sounded really well. It doesn't have much replay value after you beat it, so I'm giving it a 6.5 overall, then rounding up to 7 for voting purposes.

Not too shabby

i found this game enjoyable and well made. Alot of critism has been said about the physics of the ball, but i think that its pretty good, not perfect but pretty good. the concept is excellent, sort of like Pong and Breakout.

make a sequel :D

Physics nightmare

This game seemed like a great concept and idea, but the physics weren't finely tuned. The ball travels too fast even if you barely touch the arrow keys. It also randomly bounces weird direction. I would have rated this game higher but the physics were so annoying that i jus quit playing. If you fix the physics issue this game could be awesome

Great concept...

but the physics were so off, the game was not playable. I could not get past the second level because the ball seemed to get stuck travelling in one direction at high speeds, even after just tapping one arrow. Other than that, it's a good idea for a game. You should try to fix up the handling a bit.
