Great Concept

I would like to start off by saying this is a great concept and I enjoyed the game alot.

With that said, the game had some serious drawbacks.

Take everything I say from here on as constructive critique. I'm not trying to tell you how to design and build your game, only ideas on how to improve.

First thing that took me out of the game was the ability to stick to any wall and ceiling that didn't have spikes. It felt very "spiderman" to me. It would be nice to see "climbable" walls or maybe some gear that lets you climb walls for a period of time, like ninja gloves or something.

The animation was too quick for me. I felt like my character was moving too fast. Almost like Sonic. I don't think that feels right in this type of game, where reflexes are less important than memory and strategy.

I found the fact that I'm collecting coins on a 2d platformer very...well borrowed. It's a reward concept that is very old and very played. I'd like to see something more in the story. Maybe arrow heads collected from dead guards or something along that line. Try to tie all your elements together. Random stuff really takes the player out of the experience.

I liked the overall look of the character. I'd like to see some options there though, To be able to play as either a male or female, maybe change the robes or colors, and so on.

The levels also felt a bit rushed as far as design goes. I'd like to see more challenging and immersive levels, not just run jump shoot walk through door. I'd like to see more where I have to open doors and complete puzzles and quests. I'd like to get some simple side missions from maybe NPC in the fortress. Some collectable gear would be nice, maybe faster boots or stealthier cloak, something along those lines.

The enemies. Very nice, however I'd like to see them forget I'm there if I go away for a bit. It would be nice if they didn't notice me if I was quietly crawling along the ceiling above them. Would also be nice to have some melee attacks. The ability to attack from abive silently would be nice too. To knock out torches and get by silently and unseen would be really cool. Little touches like that would really make this game immersive and a joy to play, over and over.

Theres alot you can do here. Have fun with it, pay around, see what you like, I'm hoping you come out with even better and more complete second game.

Thanks for your hardwork, I enjoyed the game. ^_^ Keep on creating.
