Good action, theme, and graphics, although I kind of think that you shoouldn't have everybody have green skin especially with that background. It kind of looks wierd. Anyways good job overall. :)

Well, I made all the sprites and background in color initially and it honestly looked sub-par. With the green overlay it gives it that Matrixesque tone that Reloaded had the whole way through.

Its been pretty over done, but I think you made a somewhat decent version of this epic fight from the Matrix. Hope you do more pixelated fights on other subjects where its refreshing =D

Yeah, I knew that going in, I just wanted to do something that hadn't been done yet with the scene. I refuse to let the amount of other crap related to a subject matter deter me from doing something with it myself. Glad you were able to get past the initial hum-drum response, which no doubt is warranted with Matrix related animations on Newgrounds.

That was absolutely amazing. It was like proxicide good. The colors, the sprites, the matching of the music and SFX to the action was all absolutely perfect. I would love to see you take on the final Neo vs. Smith in Matrix Revolutions, or hell any major fight scene. You have a lot of ability and this is truly amazing work, some of the best I've seen on Newgrounds or anywhere. Keep it up!

I've been tossing ideas around for other fight scenes. I originally wanted to do an 8-Bit version of the highway chase scene from Reloaded with a chiptune version of Mona Lisa Overdrive, but I just couldn't find the time to put something like that together. This took a few months and I cut out 3/4 of the original scene for lack of varied sprites. Still, I would like to get started on some other ideas.

I first thought...oh look another matrix vid and its a scene that's been done to death.
So I went into it expecting nothing, BUT was given a real treat.
I watched another sprite battle yesterday ( the uchiha vs hyuga one) and your video trumps it 10 fold. For sprites the movement was really solid and steady. You have excellent editting skills. Don't let them go to waste and keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I know, Matrix has been done to death but I honestly searched the portal and the web in general for Matrix sprite movies and found nothing like this, so I thought I'd give it a stab. I actually made this awhile back and never got around to finishing it. Then I got a new computer and added some effects to make it presentable.
