it was one of those flashes thats just silly/obvious, but thats the good thing about it.... you didnt make it too fancy, it was simple :)

I Dont think this flash deserved front page (too short and only one real joke which admittedly did last the whole length of the flash, much like a stetch out of a sketch show) but it really is quite good. the animation is up there with sone of the better submissions, while the voice acting in my opinion was pretty much on the ball. Kudos. Look forward to your next submission.

I like the concept, I'd like to see more of these except perhaps expand a little. Maybe 3 'heroes' per episode

3? episode? i was thinking of maybe one sequel, but i was just going to stick with metal slug. seems like a concept that would be difficult to keep fresh. thanks for your input though.
Simple yet satisfying
It was a funny joke, and I see what you were going for. The thing that kind of disputes the joke though is that 'Metal Slug' obviously refers to the slow-moving tanks driven in the game. Some people stated that it refers to bullets, which is not true.
Anyway, nice overall. One added thing that would have sealed the deal comedy-wise is if as soon as he said "next" at the end, some other similarly named hero (to go along with the joke) walked in, said nothing and then the animation quickly cut to an ending.
