Reviews for "Blind Swordsman"

not too good....

The gameplay was literally as simple as moving a cursor around the screem mindlessly, with the only skill that could be invlved beng ruined by one large blemish: the stamina never depletes. The game is rediculously easy and doesn't require much skill to complete, and the levels all feel the same. There's now way t turn off the annoying audio, either.

Overall, I didn't enjoy this game very much.

DannyP responds:

Yes, the controls are very simple. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The stamina should deplete if you use the skill. It's programmed to do so. You might need the latest version of Flashplayer for it to work properly or something... I really don't know why the stamina wouldn't go down for you.

It would be harder if it worked properly for you, and there's only really one level. An option to disable the audio would've been a good idea.

omg

this sucked balls! i did really good and it still told me i failed. fuck this

DannyP responds:

Chances are you didn't do as good as you thought. You have to kill a certain number of guys AND reach a certain score (you might need some stamina and health to boost your score enough) to get the good ending.

annoying

music was a piece of crap.
as it was the only soundtrack that was impossible to get rid of - i had to turn my audio off...
the game was boring and controls sucked..
a bad piece of waork

DannyP responds:

What, would you rather mash your keyboard only to have it beep at you because you can only press 3 keys at once?

Boring

the idea was fine but it was too easy. the way you had him swing made it too easy to kill enemies from below. Also if you stopped moving vertically it was far to easy to become trapped in the crossfire of the arrows and shurikens. overall: a painfully boring reminder that ppl that cant even remember the theme song for Dr.Mario should never make a flash game....

DannyP responds:

Came to bash me for revenge, huh? The guy used the Super Mario Bros. 3 battle theme in his movie, or at least that's what I recognize the song as. Dr. Mario has a unique song, which was also used in the "Dr. Wario" spin-off in Wario Ware Inc. That's the song I recognize as Dr. Mario. Even if Dr. Mario did have the Mario 3 battle theme, it was a poor choice on his part to use something that would so easily be associated with Mario 3.

Thanks for coming all this way to nitpick, though. You should obviously move vertically to dodge the arrows and shuriken. Your review is like saying "GEE, THIS GAME IS WAY TOO HARD IF YOU DON'T USE THE MOUSE".

bug

there was a bug in this game my stamina was 99 the whole time my sword kept swinging fix it soon plawx

DannyP responds:

Might be a result of an older version of Flashplayer, though I can't be too sure... I never encountered that bug, anyway.
