I liked it!

Well personally I thought it was pretty good.. I liked the small interactive part, but the end was a little... meh... dunno. Not what I expected. But yeah it was nicely made. And I liked the art as well. Who doesn't like monkeys right :P

Jimp responds:

Cheers! yeah, the end was a little bit crappy I admit... but I ran out of time and needed to finish it so not a lot I could do really!

cool

great graphics
the idea wa pretty nice
good use of the audio effects...
was nice...
but.. I think the ending was kind of... simple... it wasn't an ending
you feel like you missed something...
but.. even like that.. it was nice...

ehhh...

not that funny to me even though the last dude said it had monkeys in it. But still not half bad.

Cool.

I liked the interactive part of it, I thought it flowed fairly well.
I also think you have a very nice sense of color.
However, I thought animation could use a bit of work (although for a class, I can't blame you :P).

And the only other thing I can criticize is just me personally, i hate hearing the iMovie songs in flash movies. Just go to the audio portal or something. The voice acting clarity was satisfactory.

Good job though!

Jimp responds:

Yeah i would have much prefered to use something from the audio portal, but wasnt allowed because it was a uni project and that would have counted as Plaguarism.

Also, colorlovers.com is your friend :D

not great

pretty decent animation and the sound wasn't bad, but it kinda went nowhere after the humorous beginning. perhaps you were trying to contrast the serious violence of war with the obvious parody that can be made of american-style recruitment tactics, but it was all a little weak and uneven. a good first effort, but you need to work on your storytelling and come up with better endings.
