Reviews for "Alex Seryoua: Episode I"

Eh...

The voice acting was a little bad. The animation was inconsistent, in that it was really good at some parts, then really stiff. I feel that it might have been better if a little more time was invested into the animation process. As for the voice acting, I know how hard it is to find good talent without paying. In fact, I've yet to do that. That's why most NGers stick to comedy.

Not bad!

Good concept, decent directing, alright animation. There's definitely some room for improvement here, but this is a strong start. Good work.

This is how stories are told through Flash

Loved the animation, colors, angles, and light/shadow work. Really emphasized the mood of each scene. Excellent incorporation of voice, music, and sound. Not sure why Alex's anductors hooked her up with so powerful a suit or why they attacked her after she got out of the tube (or why she was in one to begin with), but I'm sure the next episodes will reveal more. Eagerly awaiting!

Brilliant job overall. Cheers.

Amazing...

I was really stunned, the voice acting is very nice, nice sound effects and the camera movements made me thing of Cloverfield.

The ending didn't have a ''To be continued'' just before a fight start, I was affraid that would happen. But you didn't.
And I appreciate that in a flash animation, good work.

The only thing that bothers me is that it's so short.

Can't wait for episode 2.

Nice mix of drama and mystery/action.

Great job, I know it said unknown, but I didn't expect her encounters to be that unknown.

I think the first episode started off a little too rushed, you could have explained a little more about the guy she was having problems with, her background, briefly, so we get an idea who she is.

I hope in the next episode, the above is covered briefly, and explain a little as to why the aliens wanted her, and atleast why she didn't consider rescuing the others.

And most of all, why did the aliens put her in a multi-purpose combat suit that could be a threat to themselves? And they didn't make shatter-proof test containers. They should have had more precautions, those aliens didn't seem too smart, especially when her combat suit that they gave her absorbed their last minute defense weaponry, and she turned it on them firing back killing them.

Moving on from that, the graphics were pretty acceptional, good graphics, the alien's designs were interesting, voice acting was great, and I liked the interior designs of the alien ship.

The ending was great, she walks outside of the ship onto a barren-ish planet or star, or even moon (Our moon maybe?), and notices she is far from Earth, how much of a shocker would that be? It was interesting because in a way I felt her pain and shock being far from Earth, just mind blowing, I couldn't best describe that situation unless I was in it myself, being forcefully taken away. If someone is experiencing home-sickness by being at a friends house, or in another state, imagine how she feels??

Above note that I'm not trying to bash your animation or story at all, you did a good job, just my critique is calling and I'm just curious about the above all.

Honestly at first, I didn't view this at all when I first saw it on the front page, from the front page it didn't seem too interesting, but I finally decided to watch it, now I can't wait for episode 2, you got me hooked I'm afraid, thanks for making this.

Good luck on part 2, it all deserves front page.

8/10 Stars.
