Reviews for "Never, Maybe, Forever"

ggrrreeeeaaatttt!

dude your song is great! you got me skankin'!

HyruleanHyroe responds:

The ultimate test of Ska-icity. Thank you, blackmondae.

Awsome Job

I am really impressed by what sounded like you using more than just a guitar and drums. but instead a whole rang of instrument. correct me if i'm wrong, but besides guitars and drum, i thought there was also someone was on a trumpet and mayby and alto sax? Anyway great job! I'm looking forward for more songs like that =D!

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Guitar/bass, drums, trumpet, and trombone. I wish we had a sax. I think every good Ska band should have a sax player, preferably a Baritone. Alas....maybe someday....

Great job, very Skexxy

I listen to ALOT of genres, but i gotta say i still rock the ska as one of the most played, i love music, i compose sometimes; remix breakbeat but for some odd reason im just not good at learning guitar, if i had the money ive always thought id be okay on drums, dunno whatd you suggest for someone with agile and flexible yet notso strong fingers, mind you theyre pretty big since im 6'5. I'd love to hear you guys live, all thats up where i live is about 80% somewhere between hardcore screamo and emo range, hard finding good indie bands, gotta say yours is one of them; shame im way up here in canada, man this is a very non related review but ya, love the song and be sure to keep to the genre youre good at, too many bands tend to change into streamlined mush. Also ill be checking out your myspace later, if you happen to be selling a CD/album/EP maybe ill buy a copy if canadian shipping isnt too much =P

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Drumming might be good for you. It's more in the wrist than the fingers. It IS rather expensive, though...

I know exactly what you mean about screamo/emo bands. That's all we played with for the longest time. It was almost comical, to be at a show with four other hardcore screamo bands. Walking on the stage, you could almost see the confusion when the crowd saw those shiny metal things called 'horns.' Now we've got a bit of an entourage, a few cool bands we play with a lot, so things are better. :)

As for CDs/merch, we are looking into setting up an online purchasing system, so hopefully in the near future you'll be able to get a CD. So you know, we are releasing our new album (Which is much better than the first) on January second, so if you can wait until then, it might be worth it. :D

Smack Dab In The Middle

of third wave ska and the original stuff
and its a pretty good sound
which i think is odd
both are very different in their unique style
pretty jammin
i love the soft sound you guys are on
really good sound
but i would have used higher pitched horn sounds
and horns
some like you just got trombone in it (which by the way i play)
but thats just my style which is more like big d
but i take the time to appreciate good ska
and this is good ska
keep doing what you do best

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Hey, we have trumpet, too! (That's me!) :P

I'm really glad you liked it, and I'll agree with you, we're split between old and new wave ska.

BTW, Big D owns. We played with them once, at Fat Jimmy's, I believe. It was freaking awesome.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

YOU GUYS ARE SKA GODS! :D:D:D:D

HyruleanHyroe responds:

"And the LORD OF SKA said unto krazy1112, 'Go forth and multiply, and spread MY good word of SKA unto all the peoples of the world that they shalt Skank until they shalt die.' And HE saw that it was good."
