Reviews for "The Heart and the Hand p1"

One of the best movies ever!

Good stuff, actually made an account to say this! This is probably going to be one of my favorite flash movies ever, even though I'm not a fan of stuff like this :)

Drawing is perfect and story too, can't find anything bad about it... 10 / 10

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, glad you liked it enough to make an account. Awesome stuff. Thanks for the review!

fun, interesting, but what?

Nice interesting story and I like the lack of real dialogue. It allows more self interpretation. However, The characters are drawing with crayons and seem to be in grade school, however, since they seem to be in grade school and shorter then everyone else. One can assume they are not, in face, adults. Then, however, how does the girl afford all those cards and chocolates and why are they running around unintended? and how the hell is he going to pay for a restaurant? very confusing.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Please, try not to think of this too literally. Their appearance is more of an allusion to their childish personalities. This is an animation that one should keep their real life assumptions of at the door. And I said I haven't concreted their age and never want to, since I don't want it to bring questions like that to mind. It just over-complicates matters, you know? Glad you enjoyed it all the same, even if it is a little confusing when taken too literally. Thanks for the review!

hmm...

where is this strange school where no one does anything but make crayon drawings, all of the students look and act as if they were anywhere from the ages of 8 to 18, and people speak in words only occasionally? it must be a curious and magical place, indeed.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Quite really. And it's an art class, so they should be working on whatever assignment was given to them. Probably involved crayons, but not just random doodles. Of course, Glenn and Annie aren't working on their assignment, as Glenn's a slacker and Annie is too fixated on Glenn. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hope for the World Yet

I enjoyed how the style changed here and there; it didn't seem to be trapped to telling the story in just one way.

The storyline is interesting because it is not really predictable. I appreciate the surprises that keep popping up.

I look forward to the next part!

Bobert-Rob responds:

Awesome, yeah, I tried to spice things up a bit here and there and keep it overall creative. Glad you noticed and enjoyed all that. Thanks for the review!

Reminds me of MySims

The way they kind of mumble and their emotions reminds me of MySims. I realy enjoyed the crayony (?) look of some of the animation. Can't wait for the rest.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Yeah, a little, just without the jibberish. I assume 'MySims' is the same as the other game that's just titled "The sims". But yeah, glad you enjoyed all that. Thanks for the comment!
