Reviews for "Undefined's Protector"

needs refining

Overall I liked the game. There are a few problems I had with it though:

1. ABSORB - It does not make sense. Either you should have the option to disable/destroy some of your units or remove the ABSORB skill altogether. Why on earth would your purple mages attack a unit you know absorbs their attack? What's the strategy behind that?

2. INSTRUCTIONS were vague. I had hard time understanding what the statistics of each unit mean. For example what does Special 12 mean. Does it mean the unit uses a special attack with 12 pts of damage; does it mean there is a 12% chance for a special attack or something else? Also if a unit is immune to poison, does that mean green mages are useless against it, or only specialist green mages? How about mages with levels in both Specialist and Generalist?

3. RESTRICTIONS on the skills and special units. No need for that.

Really nice game

Really nice game.

My only problem with it is I can't help thinking that the elite units are a little too weak. For instance... the archers great against flying units... but then by the time you can afford him there may only be one or two waves left of flying units left. Similarly with the alchimest, who's good against swarms(i wouldn't say great) but there are so few swarms I feel he is somewhat not worth the cost.

When I think I could have 10 - 15 mages for the price of one of these guys they do pale in comparison.

That out of the way, this is an extremly strategic game. I found I had to build from the back to allow my units an equal distribution in power which was interesting (as in most defence games you can upgrade anyone in the battle field). The names were a nice touch as was the map and the little details you put in. The skills were also interesting, I guess not original (as most defence games have tech) but certainly done in an interesting way.

Perhaps a double speed button would be good. But I wouldn't implement a multiple wave button as some have suggested (think how strong the alchemests would become then in comparison to other units).

sloooow

i think this game is to slow... i was like falling aslep when i waited for the game to finish...

And its to damn complicated. why cant you see a mages states BEFORE you buy him? and what element he is. purpule has always been the poison color, not green, thats the natures color.

Im not trying to be mean or something but this is just the way i see it...

Omfg

This game couldve been perfect except for bugs. I didnt notice any at first, but when you begin to start adding more strategy you notice. I put green mages on the second square from the top at the 40 easy wave marathon. And for some reason i couldnt upgrade them. I ust couldnt click them. This problem happened all the time, but useually it would fix itself after ou tried a few times. This problem is permanent though. Very irritating

Fun!

The game was great - who cares if it promotes a site really? Is it going to kill you to open a new tab or click the kongregate flash icon?
Loved the game - some stages are pretty difficult :D
To MacGuges down there - the game on Kongregate worked completeeellyyy fine for me - stop whining and trying to sound so technical. I could freely click the squares on the upcoming waves and it wouldn't freeze the bar.
So - everything about this game was great.
The only thing I wish you could've done was a fast forward option or something to allow multiple waves at once.
Either way it's kept me occupied for awhile - good to play in between Call of Duty or something.
Again, it's good - great - excellent.
