Axolotl's GBU
Good: Great song. Nice animation, and great artistic representation of the song, especially the bit in the chapel. My favorite bit was the plane and, an odd detail, the bomb dropping. That was pretty damn impressive. And, of course, it's not easy to do art with a message without coming off preachy, I know. You did it to a T.
Bad: The guys' joints didn't seem to work right. You could tell what happened there in the chapel, but it was a little disjointed between the grenade (?) getting thrown in and the destruction that followed. It wasn't always clear why guys fell down, like the one guy who took out the three running towards him. None of them were armed. How did he get shot? Overall, that stuff seems nitpicky, but I thought you might want the criticism.
Ugly: The song was maybe a little over-dramatic. "What will you tell your kids," or something like that, it said. As far as I can remember or have read, kids love hearing war stories from their parents. It's the demogogues who send soldiers that'll have a tough time explaining themselves if they're alive when people look back on the senseless destruction of lives and resources. But the animation was understated and made a good counterpoint to that aspect of the music.
