Reviews for "Max Mesiria Chp3 RPG"

LOVE IT!

Too short... and wen u move ur mouse over smth which u cn interact, it doesnt change to a hand. Still 5/5

love it :)

i loved this game. only 2 things wrong in my opinion, 1 not long enough (but that is what i get from online games) so not to hurting there.
2. THE FREGIN LEVER CAP. i cannot stand to have a level cap.
ever played Star Ocean The 2nd Story, well when you put oh say a few hundred hours in and get to level 259 (when 100 is more than enough to beat the entire game on the hardest difficulty) with only your main character you get a little spoiled and hate to see a level cap.
personal opinions aside a really great game.

A nice game.

Overall, the game was nice. However, there was a few minor problems....

At one point, whenever one of my characters level up, he could not use any of his skills until I saved the game......
What is with the house in the snow area? I looked everywhere but could not find anyone.......
You should make the space button the interacting button, it's much easier.
And I also got stuck in one of the fishing nets....too.........
The game was still nice & I like the story line. Although, I think I had prefer Max Mesiria RPG 2.
By the way, any idea how to get a boat to continue on the story?

it was ok

i really liked the music and the mood of the game but you should make the controls so that you can use WASandD to move too. Plus I got stuck in the fish nets in the one city :(

What happened? an extremely disappointing chapter

Heya, remember Soullock who gave you wonderfully acclaims for your first
two chapters? well... I am sorry to report that you won't find any of my acclaims
for this chapter. I wonder how in the world that somewhere along in the
development that this chapter derail from what made first two chapters of
Mersiria so amazing?

Graphic:

a mixed bag. During the battles and very few of cutscenes, the background are
shockingly beautiful! I am still amazed at the artworks! The attentions to those
details are expertly done and even suppress the first two chapters! The animations
are also well done and are pleasing to watch.

However, I must point out the fact that the overworld and towns and natural
settings are extremely bland and disappointing to look at. I cannot imagine how
you decide to change in this kind of direction. If you think that bigger is better,
it not always true. The world feel so empty comparing to beautiful breathing
lands of Mersiria I and II. Almost everything looks generic and boring...
Score: 7.3/10

Sound:

the music are not really as interesting and engaging as first and second games.
Also, the sounds of enemies, characters, and items are in far lower qualities in
the same comparisons. What happened?
Score: 4.6/10

Gameplay:

another disappointing element.
The battles lost their glowing luster and interests because of changed strategy,
magic, and chopped animations. The battles from previous chapters are much
better than this. Also, the explorations feel forced since I mentioned how empty
the world and towns feel. And the space-bar option are totally gone! That was
an important button back in both chapters! This game feels too different without
some of elements that made Mersiria interesting. A failure in my eyes...
Score: 4.4/10

Plot

though the plot is pretty interesting with the new party battle system, it is
bit poor and uninteresting comparing to other chapters. The beginning felt
forced and uninspired. Why chase after the professor if you need to get on the
train to get to designation? It is one of suspensions of disbelief and it kinda
killed the plot. Though the bosses and robots are very interesting, I didn't feel
properly rewarded for beating the game comparing to previous two chapter.
Kinda bland, but still worthy plot.
Score: 7.4/10

combined all of those together, I am extremely disappointed in this game's
directions... it feel like this series have jumped the shark and spiraling into
mediocre territory. While I extremely cherish your first two chapters, I saw fit
to toss this game into bargain bin. Huge disappointment after so much of
hypes follow after second chapter.

Total Score: 6.6/10

You need to bring back the greatness of the first two chapters and follow
closely to the formulas from those games. Battles are uninteresting, plot is
bit shallow though good, explorations feel forced, and graphics are too basic.
I am giving you a pass for this chapter, so I am expecting Chapter 4 to be up
to standard of Chapters 1 and 2.

don't let me down, please
