You had the right idea...what happened?

You had a good idea, but it seemed like you tried to use too much too fast. That is, your style seemed to irrationally jump from one area to another with no transition or rational thought which made the flash seamless. I would work on giving more of a logical flow to your animation, and try to give your jokes a little more flair. Also, I would take out the option for the user to direct the text, and simply animate the thing (makes everything take longer than it should).

You certainly have a good grasp of character design and final fantasy; I'd give another FF6 flash a try before you move on.

Too much

The reason I rate this video so low is that it is mainly a composition of tired pop culture references and the sole joke that Edgar is a ladies man in FFVI. Inane conversations between Final Fantasy characters mixed with (in alphabetical order)...

Alien Hominid, FFVII (reasonable), Guitar Hero, Men in Black, Metal Gear Solid, Mortal Kombat, Rocky, Scream, and TMNT: Rebel

...doesn't make a funny movie. At approximately 6:35, this movie averages one cultural reference every 44 seconds. Incredible. Paired with the fact that the subject of conversation/scene changed constantly, and this animation should have come with an aneurysm warning.

The only reason I give it a four is because of the KFC and the Zone Ender things, as well as the fact that you have good animation skills.

What a joke

It had its ups and downs at the beginning (The way you introduced the question 'Who is Gogo?' was pretty funny.) and the card game was funny, but that was the last of the amusement.

The problems I had were the fact that it was far too long and drawn out, the music wasn't very entertaining (Kefka's laugh sound-effect was good though.), and I was really annoyed by the profanity used in this.

It had its strong-points but I really didn't like this flash overall.
