All right, but gets boring.

It's a pretty good game, with some pretty good levels. Games like this are bound to get boring sooner or later, but the level generator helps push it toward later. With some powerups, obstacles, etc. it could be fun, and maybe add some premade levels? An engine to let us build our own levels and play other people's levels would be good. It doesn't have to be complex, just one of those things where you make a level and when you save it, it gives you some code that you can use to play it again on another computer.

interesing ideas! ill have to look into save/load stuff!

Great game. As well as power ups and obstacles the path could be broken in spots so that you have to jump. Space could be used to jump.

That was good

the only problem that i had was that it lagged and you should fix that, but other than that it was great!

dem0nikk responds:

Anyone else experiencing this? I would like to fix it, but I cannot replicate the symptoms :( More info will lead to a fix!

Sometimes the crown is right in front of you...

Also, the crown COULD be better as far as graphics go...
Still fun game :)

dem0nikk responds:

Haha, yeah, it could- But graphics weren't the thrust of this release- they will be if i release a 2.0 :)

cool idea, but...

the game DOES get too repetetive even if there is a random generator,.. why not add smaller squares? squares that will carry the ball from one local to another...squares that disappear then reappear for 3 seconds... what you could do is as the level increases the liklihood of these "harder" objects appearing in the game could increase as the liklihood of big squares decreases... until you get to level 100 where it's all hard stuff. It's a cool idea to have a game where the levels are randomly created, but it is monotonous when it creates using the same single object every time

also, with ball movement I would like some friction because that would just make it more comfy.... the infinite acceleration works as a trap for people who think the super long straightaway is all there is, so they're clockin 500mph when they see the turn and OOPS, but yeah, a little natural decelleration due to friction would be nice

Multiple ball colors? multiple ball sizes? different properties to balls (i.e. different max speeds, maneuvering, etc)? for anyone who's played the marble madness game for the wii you know what I'm talking about...

themed levels, like instead of just pictures of earth and space how about the squares change to match the world as well... maybe there can be a chutes and ladders level?

You've really oppened up pandora's box, and the game has alot of potential if you're willing to put in the time to do the project well.

dem0nikk responds:

Wow, thanks for the critique!!

I know its still repetative with the one square type, others are in the mix, i assure you- I was really shooting on just getting the levels to build in interesting ways at this point.

Friction IS is there, though its tough to notice- its very low to, as you notices, catch the straight-away-speeders.

Alot of coordinated stuff is missing, and I would like to include it, but Im somewhat frightened of running the size of the game up- my secondary goal was to keep the game small- if you have any compression ideas or suggestions, PLEASE toss me a PM!
