Reviews for "A Canvas And A Struggle"

Wow

Now thats a dedicated artist!!! Amazing!

Back to actually grading the animation

Alright listen assholes. The idea is to write a review and rate it based on the animation itself and not the idea or opinion behind the animation. like trickdog1. you cant go giving her a 5 just cuz you dont like the idea of that you got from her painting. But based on the work and grade of the animation itself. Also what if what you got from the animation is completely wrong. What if shes not tying to show your life isnt worth living theory but the opposite of that and touches on stupid shit that people do to try and beat or better their own work from others even though all the while they really end up being the same. shit like that. you want to talk about an idea acting deep when you cant get past or even start to think a little deeper....

Now. You could have done a little better with this animation as yes it does look like it was rushed. Its pretty choppy and doesnt look like it runs smooth. even for an animation thats meant to look natural and lack detail in some places to bring out detail in other places. i like your choice of detail for the way this flash is presented and for whatever your motive or story is behind this animation. try not to hurry your next one too much as it will show again. could have been smoother. that was the biggest thing. but other than that. great job.

Dude

overall, it was a nice statement. but the 2012 thing, was that intentional? very scary and eerie how you put that in.

hmm....

In b4 an hero

Very well done.

Well, I think that as a whole piece it works very well indeed, but I guess the fine line between tongue-in-cheek twisted humor and analytical heavy drama is somewhat blurred here, at least to me, based upon how the cartoon begins and ultimately how it turns out. I suppose one could say that it was your intent to do this, but I would go even further ands say that much like all art, it is subjective and should indeed stay that way, so I really don't want to know exactly how you meant your message to be taken. It's a statement obviousely, but the fasion in which it is being presented is what remains obscure to my own mind's eye.

By the way, unless newgrounds themselves called you on it, I don't see the need in updating your description with a little clarification of it being a criticism. I mean, it's obvious enough to me, and if the kiddies and ignorant folks out there take it as glorification ofd the act, then so be it, you have no reason to be so overly carefull about the statement.
