That was like a great teaser trailer for part 2. the animation really worked well. The voice acting wasn't horrible, you did a good job with it.

I'd definitely watch the next one. Your story has me wanting more. Yeah, the mix between three-d and drawn wasn't well meshed, but didn't detract from it. Your voice acting could use work on that boss dude, but you seem to be right for the main characters part. If you need more actors, you might want to talk to a group called www.darkerprojects.com. They're a good group of people who do nothing but voice act in Podcasts. Some are really and truley pros, but it's all non profit stuff so far. IDK, hope it helps. Good story though, I would suggest it.

Heya,, I was never INTENDING on making a definite mesh between 3d and 2d work, my idea was to make it stand out from the background. And adding a realistic touch to a cast of cartoon characters is a different approach. That's just the way i work ...

The Good, The Bad, and The Verdict
THE GOOD:
-Excellent use of 3D rendering
-Good artwork for a budding "Flasher"
THE BAD:
-Short considering the file size; try to optimize more
THE VERDICT:
Overall, I agree with pretty much everyone else; this is a really good piece of animation. I know I didn't give as high a score as others, but I'm a tough critic. ^_^
Anyway, despite the actual SOUND of the voices, your acting was pretty decent; it worked. And the way you combined graphic animation with 3D rendering was nothing short of excellent; you have huge potential!

Mmmm... The cgi animationas are powerful, gret, and the flash animations are really cool... but... pretty much nothing happens on this episode... we just see some awesome animations and 2 guys talking... On further projects, I suggest you work a little more on your script, so you give something to your viewers, but without rushing the plot (that's always too bad)...
And I also suggest you get some help with the voice acting... (I bet there's a lot of people on newgrounds that would be happ;y to help you, including myself) because it... emm... just wasn't good; the "marine" guy didn't have any feeling at all and it sounded as if you were just reading the lines.
Hope you keep on going, and improving your skills, because just by seeing this I can tell that you are quite talented. Good Luck!
