Reviews for "Pick Up: Act 2"

Great

The art style and direction in this is really done well. The action segments flow well and look amazing. Again, very very nice. Oh, that little section with the explosion and the concussion with the muffled sound and slowed first person shots...righteous.

i mean damn

Awww :'(

After about 3 years ago, I saw this on front page, yet my other account was lost. So after time and time again of trying to find it, i finally had with great happiness, yet saddened again when I realized you still haven't made a sequal to Pick Up, as this was my favorite of your flashes (beside don't trip, which I watched constantly, my personal favorite out of all flashes).

I wish you luck on colleges and I herd you liek 10's so i gave ya one because both pick up 1 and 2 were the best, and I was quite shocked when I saw don't trip later on and loved it and realized it was from the same author.

Skaijo responds:

Thanks for the story. xD Yeah, my style has been tweeked a bit since then so I don't blame you if you got shocked.

Pick up is a fun series to do, but like to work on that project when I have time to push 120%. Now that I'm in school, I really don't have the time to focus on demanding projects like that anymore. At least not for some time. That's why I do the Layton animations (since they're short and simple to do complete), and save my energy for major projects where I can experiment with new styles and have a bit more freedom going from scene to scene as I work on the .fla. If I were to do P.U.03 now, I'd first want to finalize a story, daft a script, get the song and VA's I need, storyboard, then animate for about 5-7 months. That actually sounds like fun... but I don't have the time. :(

If it's any consolation, next serious project I'm working on will have action above and beyond what you seen here and sideways cameos by certain Blue Box delivery services.
