it looks like its going to be great! i cant give you a 2-5 on this one because its so damn short, but the series looks like it will be awesome. i suggest having a few more camera angles in your upcoming movies.

Thanks! I also appreciate your honesty on the way you voted on my movie. Agreed that it was short, but also the first episode will be more of an intro into the series and won't really explain much if you think about it. First of all they need to meet up, then get transported and then figure out what's happened, etc.
As for the camera angles idea, I've been toying with ideas like first person views from certain characters or creatures as such. maybe a birds eye view as an enemy spies down upon them as they walk by.

Suggestion...
...I caught a glimpse of Pikachu on there (the fact that I recognized that thing, and can spell it's name is both amazing to me and very troubling) and while I liked the first part, and the design of the dude's eyes, the Pikachu on there was just kinda a turnoff - create your own, original character is my suggestion. I think it's pretty good overall though...later

That is understandable. However, the concept is to sort of visit other dimensions and if I was to place one of my own created creatures in place of the Pikachu you might of not understood. It is however likely that the characters end up in pokémon world at some point because we have a good backing of jokes and ideas for it. However, I don't intend on keeping the characters in these sort of words for long because it restircts my ability to be creative and thus making the series sort of boring.

You may very well have something here......
What I mean is with the story that your basing this flash on could actually lead to something good.....that being said whether you take my advice or not is obviously optional, but one of the biggest problems with flashes these days is that not many authors take the time to detail there environment a good example would be intruder revelation. now while your animation doesnt need to be that specific having a decent moving character is a basic must, again most authors choose to take a character and have them hopping and then have the nerve to call it walking. While much advice can be given to help you do better nothing can help you more then hard dedication and never giving up on improving your skills. I wish you the best of luck in any and every flash......end

Thank you, and your advice is already in consideration. More detail to background is obvious from that preview. More detail to the landscape which could even move is say the wind was blowing the grass. I'll admit first though that I need to take a few notes on how to properly draw and create a few things to a god effect. It just involves a few more movie clips in my flash library is all.
The animation of walking I ave already been working on and I do believe I have it done properly. The only problem with them is that they are only practice legs so I couldn't use them in the preview XD. I have also got to take into effect how peoples expressions change and the body language they use (like crossing their arms or shrugging) and I've been working on these aswell.

ok... firstly =)... nice try since ur a beginner ^^.... err... tips... tips... now what can i think of... oh yeah.. first.... i see u used the radial gradient thing... its ok sometimes.. but... dont overuse it... it looks too unnatural.... my assumption on u are gonna use it too much is cuz u said that they're gonna be teleported everywhere haha... so anyhow... try to lessen that =)... it well... basically makes a flash look noob hehe... especially if used for "teleporting" scenes... secondly... panning... too much panning for the sake of "screen time" also isnt very good.. its... quite boring. so... another thing is u will need a play button =).. im sure u know how to make 1... if not... look around newgrounds tutorial section.
regarding ur artwork... firstly is u have to know that light relects quite evenly in the eyes... so if u look at the scene where there was a guy staring **and camera panning** at the camera... u will see that u drew the eyes in a way that makes it look like his left eye is looking left and his right eye is looking right. k.. that bout sums it up i guess... on yeah... bout the reflection thing... pikachu also had the same prob.... k.. good luck with ur work ^^... hope u do those friends of urs proud =)..

heh, the gradient was a cheap alternative I know. The actual one in my series will be more of a complicated sequence (well more complicated than a gradient =P). As for the panning, the song was longer than I remembered to tell the truth so that was my bad, was hoping now one would notice it so much ^.^' . Play button... bugger... I knew I had forgotten something. I've actually realized that when looking at my animation myself, that thing with teh eyes. However I couldnt exactly figure out why they looked wrong, so thank you =)

too short and no real animation....
This is way too short and is pretty much just tweens. Dont post a preview unless you have the majority of your animation done, or else you are just lowering your BA.

This was just more of a 'getting my idea out there' that will affect my BA i know. However everyone has to start somewhere as you well know and I'm willing to make this sacrifice. The tweens I'll admit were used more as a sort of filler than they should of been, but it also takes time to make a character move a leg and such so I appreciate if you would understand that these animation efforts will be made in the actual series.
