Reviews for "Artifission RPG chp0"

well

i cant even get to the main hall because i get attacked so many times but if i could i know it would be a great game :D

Toooo long....

The guy moves way too slow, encountered way too much opposition trying to get to the hall, and the stupid rocket animations takes becomes a hindrance if theres more than 1 on screen and they are on alternating reloads. The invisible wall barriers are a pain too, its hard to tell whats a path and whats blocked. It has potential, but needs a cup of coffee.

Fickludd responds:

Thanks for the review!

Alternating reload eeh? Good point, I haden't realised they could do that, that's ewul.

Gonna do something about the invisible barriers, yupp. Then I'll have my coffee.

Awesome game but..

I couldn't get past the boss that was just behind the main hall, the laser is a killer =( Awesome game though, I had no problems with it, but you could touch-up the graphics alittle more for the next one=)
5/5

Very good

Good RPG. The graphics were OK and the sounds and music were very good. They kinda reminded me of Final Fantasy 7. You encounter way too much enemies and the guys with the rocket launcher are a little too powerful.

I liked the fact to use one single key (x) and the arrow keys. There was no need of menu.

Great choice of setting

Unlike a lot of other RPGs right now on Newgrounds, you've picked a good, more recent setting instead of a fantasy and high magic kind of location. Although the graphics aren't the best, the way you designed it seems fairly stable. The fact that there is no ingame menu is irritating though, and the large amount of random encounters is just crazy. I mean, yeah, the area's being attacked, but you don't think that maybe there's other soldiers in the compound that's dealing with some of the enemies? Also, do all the enemies mysteriously know where the bodyguard is and zoom into him as soon as they get the chance? I just think the random encounters are annoying.

Ok, speaking of plot now. There should at least be a coherence to the plot, because bodyguards usually don't have to search for the person they're guarding. Otherwise it's not very good protecting, you see. The enemies are also a bit strange--why do they have ranged weapons and he has a melee, and they can't defeat him? Is it some powersuit thing going on here? This is just realism, such as the lack of blood. It's alright for a game to do this, it's just really generic RPG stuff.

Other than those problems, I can't think of any other ones, so this is a pretty nice game right here. I'm waiting for the next parts.
