Oregon Trail?
I've played Oregon Trail, and while it has its similarities, this game is a LOT closer to the old SNES game Uncharted Waters: New Horizons.
This game really does deserve a lot more attention than it's received. This is one of my new favorites, and I can't wait for your next submission.
A little slow
I realize that for obvious reasons you can't make this game speedy, but at the very least you could make a "skip walk animation" button for battle, or possibly a "very fast" mode as opposed to just "fast". Other then that and the obvious inspiration from Fallout, good game y'got here.
Thanks. The first thing I'm going to do is to fix the bugs the current version has. The second thing is to optimize a game a little bit. I will certainly increase the speed and will add a "skip animation" option, at least for the enemy's moves. However, it requires some time, so please be patient.

No caravans.
Caravans clog up the roads and break down in the most annoying place, I really don't like the idea of a caravan. If you made it a truck instead then 10.
