Reviews for "Azul Baronis"

Excellent

Very high quality work. I can't fault the gameplay, really. It was a pleasure to play, and, unlike most flash games, it has enormous replay value.

Being the graphics whore that I am, though, my only complaint is that it could've been prettier. Flash has some awesome effects, you can recreate bloom or hdr with some of the filters, motion blurs are possible, soft shadows, dynamic lighting (all simulated of course). I understand that you were probably making it as bare-bones as possible to make the framerate acceptable with an enormous amount of objects on the screen, but an optional ultra-high-detail mode would've been appreciated by those of us who would prefer to play FEAR at 3 frames per second with graphics on full, rather than have it playable and looking like D00M.

Either way, though.
Excellent.

I'd love to know how you managed to write such an efficient engine (:

Top-down Dogfighting GOLD!

This is true space-age dogfights on a massive scale. Having 90 (or even 140!) fighters on the battlefield makes for some intense combat sequences. There may be a lack of fighter types, but they work well together. The background music is a perfect match as well, yet the sound effects seem to get stale quickly from the lack of variety. Some ideas for the sequel (THERE JUST HAS TO BE ONE):

1. Ability to use Testerdons
2. Multiplayer!
3. Campaign mode with save function (make sure scores don't save)
4. Quick Skirmishes (you choose what units to bring)

This is still a great game without the above four, but these would put this game into supreme greatness.

great game

its great. but the mothership is a bit hard. the coordinated attacks are really hard to follow.

Impressive

Overall good, but the 8th level is nearly impossible, and its kida cheap that the shield of your ship doesnt charge back up after a while so you can stay in the game a bit longer, I wish i could piot a tesuldon too, but its a great and addicting game. I definitely want to see a sequel.

part 2!

multiplayer!

great job.
