Good causes don't excuse frustrating games.
Sorry, but this is NG. (Nearly) everybody here is a selfish, self-serving, canniving jerk out for their own amusement. And so help me, I'm playing their advocate.
Blow-by-Blow:
Graphics: 8/10. The graphics on this game are very nice - everything is smoothly done and meshes well with what's around it, except for the elephant's trunk, which could've been done better.
Style: The style's not bad. In fact, it's a pretty neat puzzle - concept's been done before, but it's not TOO old or overdone to be captivating for awhile.
Sound: Top-notch sound, really. If it went up to 11, I'd vote 11. But alas, it only goes up to 10. I love the SFX, and the music is nice, even if there is only one track.
Violence: Alas, you get a 0 here. To be expected, really, since it's a puzzle and not a shooter, but this is NG, damnit. I want to see some murder! :) (Or is letting the crops and animals die of dehydration considered violent? Hmmm...)
Interactivity: It's a puzzle game! Of course it's interactive.
Humor: Not really anything funny about it, which is ironic since the symbol is a clown's red nose.
Overall: 5. Why?
This game is frustrating. If the time limit were the time you had to get the pipes connected and click ONE button to fill the pipes with water, that would be fine. However, you have to click the pump repeatedly to get the elephant to pump up the pressure, which would be marginal, and THEN if the water dosen't reach the end pipe in time, it's you lose, despite everything being fine... I'm sorry, but I REALLY do not think that we're on a time margin of seconds here, especially when the water's on the way. It really is frustrating, because you've really got a time limit that's about 10-15 seconds shorter than the clock actually says you have.
