Eh...
I'll admit, adding the subtext and plot made it MUCH better than the first but it still doesn't cut it.
The animation is killing it more than anything now. So you have the plot idea worked out. Now you need to clean it all up! A complete overhaul of the animations would help you the most now. All of the animations are painfull to watch.
The blob characters aren't too bad, in fact, blob characters can work out very well if you use them right. The background needs serious attention. It looks like...well like it was done in 5 seconds. Pay more attention to details of the background. They are almost nothing, mostly just filled colors or gradients. Filled colors can work if they are the right colors. Nothing is even moving in the background; the only things that are moving anywhere are the little blob people. For the intro of the different blobs you could have it look like a crowd of people taking pictures just by making a grey background with a bunch of same-size, different color dots and having little flashes of light all around it. I'm just trying to give you some ideas.
It moves too fast and its far too short. With the speed of the movement, you hardly have any time to enjoy or even read the subtext. It really needs to be longer and have more levels. And if only one blob survives the first round, it makes the second seem like a waste.
As a newbie, you should expect to have lots of movies blammed at first until you get a feel for flash. So don't give up hope.
