This was Extremely fun. It was very hard at first but I got used to it quickly. I think the problem was that the ship needs to be a little more fluent in its movements. I fucking loved the little bombs that dropped from the bottom, they became so useful.
My arm hurts
I don't know if it was intended or not, but I noticed you could rapid fire alot faster by mashing the spacebar rather than holding it in. Now my forearm hurts. That sort of rapid fire really would be better with a console controller. Fortunatly, the graphics and feel are on par with some old console side scrollers. My only real beef was that I thought you should be able to fly a little higher and lower. It was hard to tell where your hight limit was.

A very classic side scrolling shooter, much like Gradius, and with the intensity of Raiden Fighters. The sprites are very cool, great explosive animations. The game play was very smooth and fun. There was a lot going on, so the game was challenging, great job on creating such a retro experience. Hell, even the menus is cool.

Simple...
...but it does simple well. The only problem is if you lose your powerups in the first level, it can really screw you over in the second. Still, it is fun and accessible for everyone, with a neat presentation.
