Reviews for "Rage 2!"

Hmmpf

It's a beat em up, it's supposed to be easy and enjoyable.

1 on 1 fights are hard already, and you pit the player against 4+ enemies at the same time?

Why does the character stall with each hits? It is only annoying when you are surrounded. Enemies do not stall long enough after a hit, either, even if it's a gunshot.

Other than that, it's very well done. This game would be a lot of fun if you allowed the player to basically bust through everything. For example, when you're hit, the character should flash for a moment instead of stopping on the spot. Enemies should be knocked down after a blow so it's possible to take care of groups without running away and aiming a grenade carefully.

Cosmoseth responds:

If you want to have that kind of fun, try turning on the cheats :)

how could you do this to us?

Cmon, face it. The first one was muchb better. Ur weapon can only be swung once in this, ur combo is lame and has little to no variety, and its extremely hard to reach rage mode without a powerup. I wont hold it against you, I loved the first one, but come on. You know that the first was better just as well as I do.

Cosmoseth responds:

I disagree. I half-assed everything on the first game, which caused severe lag. I actually worked hard on this version.

sorry but

this game is good in all but i think the first one was better because it had better combos it aint take that long to get rage up and it dont have that big blast when u do have rage but the game still good

poor comparison with the first

Noticed those that you go up against are a tad faster. I don't like being forced to jump around to avoid being killed. And I think people are confusing the quick build up in difficulty with a challenging expirence. Challenging should come later after I'm used to the game instead of right off the bat convincing me that the gaming expirence isn't likely to improve.

My preference will still remain with the first version.

Couple more points, giving that the charcter is up against so much he should be slightly more that equal to those he's fighting against. And given that some of the underlying concepts of the game imply that he's... powerful... shouldn't it play that way?

Ok but

First one was better
