Here are some things I think you got wrong.
1. I don't think Swain hates sprites.
2. Randy Solem doesn't make his own sprites.
3. Paul ter Voorde hasn't done sprites in ages.

An excellent movie...
This movie is simply excellent in its construction, direction, writing, and compilation. I can only hope the Christmas message is not lost on those who crticize sprite movies unfairly.
An original sprite animation?!?
w00t!! That was hilarious and nicely animated!! I also liked how the flash came with music that felt NES-ish. Hopefully, it'll be on front page, where everyone sees it and laughs with great rage!!

Awesome work there. That was very entertaining. I liked the whole "Christmas Story" parody thing you had going on there. It was very funny. I also liked how the music had a NES feel to it to go with the graphics.
Having one character to ruin the rhyme thing was very clever, too.
