Reviews for "Still Blastin'"

Childhood

Back whenever megaman X came out. Your musician ship shines bright in this flashback ur making me have, thanks

In a word: wow.

Every time I listen to it, this songs gives me goosebumps. Seriously.

You've created a masterpiece here, and I just want you to know that Still Blastin' is the song that first made me want to create music of my own. I've been playing 2 different musical instruments for years now, but I never really gave any thought to actually composing anything.

But that's where you come in.

The beginning isn't too slow, nor is it too fast. It's PERFECT. It matches up with the rest of the song, and introduces it in an interesting and artful way. It speaks of what is to come and tells us about all the epicness we get to look forward to.

When the main melody comes in, it comes in with a bang. It's just jarring enough to surprise and amaze, but not completely unexpected. Like everything else, it blends in seamlessly.

And the rest of it... just as fantastic as the first bit. The higher pitched 8-bit-ish melody really does it for me. It turns this from an amazing song to a friggin' work of ART. And again, it blends effortlessly and completely.

When I listen to this song, it makes me want to DO something. Draw, write, play music. Hop on a high-tech spaceship and hurtle through space. Whatever. The point here is that you've made something that affects people greatly and completely draws them in. And let me tell you, THAT is an accomplishment in itself.

I know I'm rambling, so I'll stop here. This review is already getting ridiculous.

Don't stop making music, no matter the type. I love 8-bit stuff, and I LOVE techno, but I love so many other types of music. So even if you decide to never do another techno/trance song, don't stop. You've really got something here.

So yeah. Just wanted to tell you that this song is spectacular. :)

Still...

...can't get enough of this one. it's like D'n'B/Breakbeat and Megaman had a baby. Love it!
