Reviews for "Super Sneaky Spy Guy 3"

Nice job, but it was hard

I noticed the numbers and that is it. Nice game, I like these kind of games, they make me think. Maybe put a hint system in for us stuck people? Getting late on this end, signing off.

Here is the third installment of Super Secret Spy Guy, a very old but still fun point n click mystery game. This game is more difficult than the first two, but not impossible. It took me a long time to finish because I couldn't find a certain thing that the tool needed to be used on very easily. Overall, this game is still fun in 2016 and I look forward to playing through the rest of the series.

Thanks! Glad to hear you like it even now!

Good game, short and rather easy but a lot of fun. I remember I was addicted to Super Sneaky Spy Guy games back in 2006, they bring me so much nostalgia from that time, and now I'm here rediscovering them after 13 years! Thanks selfdefiant for all the SSSG games and for the trip down the memory lane.

By the way, is the background theme original? I swear I've heard it before, I love this tune so much, someone has to tell me the name of the song if it's not original.

edit: the background theme is "Mad World" by Tears for Fears, but sounds more like the cover version on Donnie Darko soundtrack. Great choice of background theme if you ask me!

Another enjoyable stop in the "chronological trip down selfdefiant memory lane" (tm).

Still a bit on the short and easy side, although the hints were less obvious this time around, making the puzzles more challenging and satisfying. The usage of a particular 'tool' in one of them was a really nice touch, definitely my favourite puzzle of the series so far. I also liked that there was a bit more (if disjointed) backstory in this one.

I'm already missing Uncle Willie and his gold though! D:

selfdefiant responds:

Thanks. I think I need to replay all of these as well. :)

That guy in the intro almost looks like he's dripping blood rather than an ice cream. :D I like how the interface changes in all of these first segments, not that consistent sure, but it feels like it's evolving for each one. I like this one best so far, much smoother than the previous, and the textbox is perfectly integrated here. No unnecessary space, large buttons.. it looks good!
