This will be my first review for Newgrounds, so bear with me a little. I'm a big fan of horror escape games, and I actually found Nocturnal Letters through one of those escape game websites. I loved the fact that it was story driven and that you didn't have to go crazy trying to solve endless puzzles or having to go back and forth from so many rooms. The atmosphere is nice and moody and it's matched by the music. I like the ambiguity of the ending and I do hope for a sequel. My only concerns about this game were the graphics at certain points, such as after Ivy looks in her sister's mirror, passes out, and reawakens, mostly because it's a little difficult to see. I also thought it would've been a bit more interesting if you were able to explore the green house or the parents' bedroom.
In closing, I thoroughly enjoyed Nocturnal Letters and will keep coming back to play it again.
