Why buy?

The day New Grounds is used as a demo/shareware site is the day Satan gets in a snowball fight with Hitler.

This game had an interesting concept; I liked it and thought that it had one up on the "three of a color" games this is inspired by.

However, this game strongly lacks a challenge. If I wanted to lose I figure I would have to go away from my computer for a few minutes, because this is so blatantly idiot-proof that it would be impossible otherwise.

Using this to pimp your "full version" might sell a few copies of your game, but it probably would have sold more if you had actually included some challenging elements. Moreover, the game does not have much of a "hook"; that point where you realize how the game works and the inherent challenge, thus inspiring you to start kicking pixellated ass.

The game overall is... well, a game. I can call it a complete, functional game, but that does not necessarily make it a good one.

Anyone who puts down money for the full version of this game is probably an idiot; fortunately, that seems to be the type of player you are catering to, so I suppose that it is a win-win situation for you. You get money, and the player gets pretty colors.

Quite Fun!

I don't really like those get three in a row kind of games, and boy am I glad that wasn't the goal here!

Though relatively simplistic, it is VERY addicting and some fun.

My only complaint is you have to download the full version to get some features...ah well.

Over all, a fantabulous game.

Fun!

As a flash, yeah, it rocks and you could tottaly say "Phawk that last review!"

But if you're planning to make money off of it, it would need some background music atleast... It's a bit depressing without music...

The graphics are fine, i think. Puzzles aren't supposed to be all "RAZZLE DAZZLEY" and EYE CANDY. It's all about intellect in this game.

Sudoku doesn't need good graphics, why should THIS game?
The graphics are pretty neat as they already are.

I enjoyed it! I would buy it.
But it seriously does need some music....

It looks like a game that should be on the Nintendo DS.

lousy!

I'm sorry. I don't mean to offend.
but there are a few major mistakes in the making of this game:

1. the sound is too irritating and dissonant, and really unpleasent for this kind of games. try finding some soft muse that will calm the player and make it more enjoyable.
2. the graphics are terrible. everything is so robotic and unappealing. nothing there attracts the eye. not even one piece of motion.
the DNA stuff itself isn't cool or amazing at all. it looks like cut-outs of pictures of cat food or somthing.
3. the instructions aren't interesting. this is a game. when istructing a game, you should do it in a simple way. go see the game "-Red-" and learn a few things.
4. and the worst part: the gameplay itself is boring and stops being fun after one or two minutes. not enough options (I'm not talking about kinds of games, it's the games themselves that are not interesting and isn't so fluent).

suggestions for improvements:
A. draw everything in flash, with more cartoonish themes.
B. add background sound, and get rid of those horrible ones you have now (the player does not need to toggle his sound all the time!).
C. make the menu more interesting, juming all around and stuff. in other words: more animation would make it a far more enjoyable piece of work.
D. think of harder tasks. and you should add a timer, or maybe some bad guys - do it more challanging. (maybe you already have. I was too bored after the first 4 levels so I stopped playing. if that's the case then delete some first stages).
E. don't try to make it look alll sciencey and cool, that makes it look even more ridiculous. instead, try and find some other background story - it'll be even better if it were a funny one.

of course, it's plain to see that this is a not-so hard worked job. actually... I got the impression that this is one of those cheap-wannabe-games that costs and are only made to make some pathetic money for some pathetic loser (just like all those "lion king 2", "lilo and stitch 2", "cars", "mulan 2" and other similer disney-movies that are only ment to make some money).

Pretty good

Front page worthy. It was very addictive. Good job (if you made it). You got a zero on sound because my computer doesn't have sound.
