holy fucking shit!
I USED TO LAY SPY's DEMISE ON THE FUCKING APPLE IIC! That game was the shit, i cant beleive any one else remembers it!
I like the challenge that this game presents, and it can make for a very interesting yet challenging game. I can't say I have any nostalgic ties to Spy's Demise, but it still looks like a lot of effort was put into this game.
Nostalgic
Nostalgia is something that will get me all the time as long as its in a good way, i loved playing super metroid, and listening to all the old music... pure awesomeness. Very intuitive game, i kept playing till that damn time kept killing me. but i played for like fifteen minutes or so and thats pretty long for me to be playing a flash taht is the same thing over and over just different monsters! good job keep up the good work! might want to make the time a little bit longer or have easy, normal, and hard modes or unlockables. unlockables are always fun especially iff they effect the gameplay. maybe like a shield wich gives you one free hit or add a point system to spend on upgrades like speeed upgrades or health upgrades.

nice, but....
very nicely done, the sprites moved smoothly and everything synced up great, i especialy liked the little clock up top it made me remember the clock that is used in the metroid games when you have to get out before the base blows up. But the game is too basic, after the first level the player gets board, you have lots of talent and im sorry cuz i know this must of taken a good amount of time to put together, but i think you should try again, cant wait to see what else you can do.
