shows promise. keep trying

the big problems:
the character slides whenever he moves. meaning, he doesnt stop when you stop moving him.
some of the platforms move out from under the character. he stays in one spot and the platform moves out from under him.
the one-hit-kill thing is irritating, but some games pull it off, so if you want to keep it, go for it.
and, if the wall on the first area that goes up and down is supposed to hurt the character, it doesnt. it goes through him if you stand under it.

Thanks for pointing these out. I'm gonna improve the friction cause loadsa people say he keeps sliding. I'm working on variables and a life bar for the full version aswell.

Well, first off, this might now turn out to be such a bad game. First thing you need to do it get it to lag less. I'm running 1gb ram, and an amazing graphics card, and it lagged alot. This is the games fault. It was alos reading in the commands late.
The graphics were good, maybe a little more detail, but they are good.
Okay, sound, the jumping sound was annoying. The quality was fine though.
You might consider making the levels bigger, even if this is a part of an overall level, you should make it bigger, mabe harder (only after you take out the lag)

Thanks for the input. I have no idea how to sort out the lag, I'll probably just compress the audio. The jumping sound was all I could find, yeah it's annoying, yeah Im redoing it.
