Reviews for "The Clock War: Part III"

Bag of mixed clocks

I must say, this was a good entree.

The graphical style was pretty sweet. They looked like they were drawn in a comic book/graffiti style. Very slick.

It felt very cinematic and was paced well for what is was: a serious, dramatic conclusion. The music also complimented this very well.

But that's the biggest flaw of the whole thing. It's the friggin' clock crew. When I watch a clock movie, I don't want the animation to try and conjur up such a somber mood. And I sure as hell don't watch clock movies to remember to "love thy neighbor."

I think as of late, there are too many clock movies that are taking themselves WAY too seriously.

That's missing the whole point.

But again, as a short film, it was pretty fantastic. Kudos.

Not bad

It was really good, cool graphic&sound etc. ...

this was a little shitty

the voises are the reason i seriously didnt like this crap and the end sucked

good for a clock movie

most clock movies are crap

these werent the best graphics but the style was new and intresting
good music but i hate the clock talk
lots of violence
but unfortunately it wasnt very funny

overall: 5.8

FUClock responds:

Though I'm a little chagrined by the 6/10, I'm glad you "liked it." I'll give you a more detailed score list, even though there's one in the credits.

The intro. song - "How To Disappear Completely" by Radiohead.

The song it transitions into when F U Clock is shown - "Tautou" by Brand New.

The song that plays when Adrenaline gets shot - "Brother Woodrow/ Closing Prayer" by The Afghan Whigs.

The song that plays when Strawberry arrives - "Lucid" by Idiot Pilot.

There is a sound effect played earlier, and the little tune that plays when Carrot says "I don't think so," by Akira Yamaoka, on the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack.

When CarrotClock and StrawberryClock fight - "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria.

The final song that plays when the Clocks all go home - "Heaven" by The Fire Theft.
