Reviews for "Mario's Blocks"

Sweet!

When I started watching it my first though was BLAM! Then I Watched more and it got better, then the thing that made me love this movie was the command and conquer Ion Beacon. I like hell... it had a nice soundtrack.

I have never seen one block cause so much damage.

UberAoC responds:

Thank God you decided to watch it all the way! I hate people who BLAM stuff without even giving it a chance.

The Ion Cannon scene is still awesome, even after I've seen it 60+ times. It COULD be improved, but I'm not entirely sure as to how right now...

Lol! "Hell has a nice soundtrack."

Thanks for watching and reviewing!

Oh boy,

I gotta hand it to ya, nice Mario parody that was intense, better than mine, it's on the fronpage right now SMW parodies. wow that was funny and you can actually draw too, :) nice customs aswell, I loved the slapstick humour and everything.

UberAoC responds:

Wow, a frontpager! An honor to have your review, King David!

It takes a very modest person to say that another's work is better than their own. Seeing as how you currently hold the front page, that is a compliment not to be taken lightly. Much obliged to have such great things said about this toon.

Thank you very much, King David. I loved the work you did on SMW parodies(Toad with the blood spouting eyes gave me a lol!) Again, thank you!

That was tight...

At first i was thinking, "Oh this is one of those flashes where there's like 3 scenes of mario dieing in weird ways, and then it'll be over" Man i was wrong.
The first death made me start thinking this flash was made by some guy who didn't feel like effort was worth having a better flash, but as it went on it kept getting better.

The absolute best one was the Tom and Wade Fulp one. OMG man, i couldn't stop laughing my ass off when Tom gave Wade the spasmatic thumbs up to the beam of ultimate death and hurt.
Good stuff. =D

UberAoC responds:

The beginning seems to elude to a quickly slapped together flash, but even as I worked on this, I got better and better. Then I took a break to work on a few other things, came back to this, and was able to do the FulpBot scene and the awesome ending!

I'm glad that you viewed the ENTIRE cartoon before leaving a review! Better than what a very limited amount of people have done!

Thanks for liking the cartoon and leaving an excellent review!

better then most

odviously still room for improvemtn, but thats always gona be the case, you get a 10 for s ound jsut for the credits song, and the last scene was effing hillarious, goord work, keep it up!

UberAoC responds:

Lol! Credits music still rules! I know more can always be done to a project, but there's just a point where one just has to let it go.

Thanks for leaving me a great review! Your support is highly appreciated!

Very original...

This Mario parody was pretty unique in my opinion. It makes me think that the games should have had traps in the blocks once in a while. I liked all of the references to other games and movies you put in it. The Fulp bots were also pretty creative, I like violent transforming cyborgs. Overall I think that this is better than most Mario parodies out there. I think I know where you got the chainsaw's sound effects. You got them from Doom 3, just like I did for my animation :D Keep up the good work!

UberAoC responds:

I'm glad that you see the originality in my animation! I've still yet to see a good trap block in the Mario series at all... That would make things a bit more interesting, eh?

The FulpBots were an idea I've never seen anything developed on. I really wanted something on Newgrounds that displays a bit of patriotism to this great site of ours, so I took the initiative! It's good to see people liked them!

Indeed, the chainsaw sound effects do come from Doom 3. Hey, it's a great sound when you're ripping apart demons!

Thanks for the awesome review!
