Reviews for "Animated Preloaders"

somewut helpful

i have been working on making my movie and all but when it comes to the animation do i animate the bar and wut i want to move with it or does that hapen by itself plz reply with help

PARAGON-pvp responds:

you need to make a movie clip, with the animation inside it, then paste it in the first and second frame, it will go through the 100 frames only once while it's loading

sumthing u could add:

it was good over all but maybe you could add how to make a pre-loader w/ a play button after the movie is done loading

PARAGON-pvp responds:

well in this tutorial i showed how it will go to the "start" frame, and play from there, but if anyone needs a play button code, just use this:
on(release){
play();
}

Confusing

If you are making an tutorial for "fricken idiots" then treat us like one, you're writing this for someone who already knows how to do it, you should include print screens of the action to help out

PARAGON-pvp responds:

I agree, I didn't think this tutorial through to the extent of perfection that I should have,,, I also didn't expect the tutorial to get as high a rating and submission to the tutorial page, good luck tho, any questions just ask.

Not very helpfull

This flash doesnt talk you through very well, like, where do you put in the script writing? How do you name a frame. People who know flash well will know what to do but noobs wont have a clue. Try explaining it better by using step by step. Might also wanna change the background and the music

PARAGON-pvp responds:

This is for people who are new to Actionscript not people who are new to flash, my apologies for not stating that.

Fulfilled its purpose

I now know exactly how to do preloaders. Thanks, I would change the background though. Well done, perfect for newies.

PARAGON-pvp responds:

Thanks for the review, I'll take that into consideration for my next tutorial,,, not sure that will be tho.
