Reviews for "The Adventures of Steve 1"

Pretty Decent

Hey man all I have to say is that was actually somewhat good from what I saw. I realize that the previous person may of complained a bit about it... But I still thought it was good. If you're coming out with another episode I have a few reccomendations...
1.)One would be to have slightly better animation for the walking and the talking, like said before.
2.)Another would be that it would be in your best interests to maybe include a skip button on the intro.

Otherwise I thought that your immediate movement with the characters looked good and the fighting stance, though sketchy, was good in a fsu sort of way. Look forward to more.

sadness

The only thing sadder than someone making this is that its actually doing well on Newgrounds. Everybody's voting low-brow these days. As far as tech goes, crappy lipsynching and off proportion characters but in that fun Ren and Stympy kinda way, just badly drawn anime. Sound was muddled too.

Neo-Egyptian responds:

To be perfectly honest, while I'm trying to derive some kind of useful criticism from your post, I'm failing. Calling an animation 'anime' because some of the characters very vaguely resemble those sorts of characters, when the actual plot/dialogue/setting has nothing to do with anime whatsoever, is somewhat misinformed.

But hey, thanks for the comment about off-proportion characters, I'll work on that.

Godly

That was the best cartoon ive watched in a long time.

lmao

this really made me laugh I love the "you've got 7 hours of your shift left" "I dont care" he's awesome steve for the win

Not bad

Reason I gave it a 5 for sound is you mixed up the accents on the differnt characters a couple of times.

Other then that, it was pretty average, but the Video Game parody part was reasonably funny.

Neo-Egyptian responds:

Yeah, that's fair enough, it's the first animation I've ever done voice 'acting' for, so it needs a little work. Glad you liked the Street Fighter bit, it came off pretty well (would have liked it to be longer, but oh well!)
