Short but sweet
A bit short and the music was a bit annoying to me but your animating was great and it was funny, the length of it doesn't really matter as long as it grabs your attention straight from the off which yours did.

Well, for a first flash it's not bad
I've seen some really shabby flash animations on Newgrounds, and so, for a first, this ain't too bad. :)

For early animations this is really good! Things to improve on - background graphics are needed. It's boring with nothing. Make something with a point, or a twist, or a moral, or something, and it'll do better. I liked your animation style, I hope you'll continue because that was quite good! Niggly things, I'd keep his mouth in his face. And parts were a bit lazy, like not showing the blasting up with the smoke - I know it would've taken a while but it would've been cool. The way the jetpack folded out was great! All the best.

I agree that was pretty good, great animation skills, you just need to make it longer, add more stuff... you stopped on the same frame a little too long though, got bored of staring at a smile bubble and smoke in the air... would have been awesomer if the explosion was all red and firey
