Reviews for "Dance of Lies 2-The Curse"

Lilium-esque

Can you give me soem pointers for making something this dark?
I've been trying to make "Aurum" for ages. And... what is it with the shadow and fetuses, anyway?

Davo-one responds:

Send me a PM :D

Hm...

I can't help but feel the movie was made for the song, not vice versa. It seemed more like an adaptation to an incredible sound track rather than a movie with wicked music. Not much of a story as far as this goes, but definitely well made in terms of atmosphere. What an incredible little girl. Very well animated, with a vibe-worthy ending.

Just one thing though. In the narrative, you spelt it Byrnes, but on the gravestone it was Birnes.

Davo-one responds:

As you say, there's not much story, its made for uncovering secrets, but they are discovered with metaphors and symbolisms, what an incredible family I may say.
I got stuck on the ending a lot of time trying to connect the story with the original.

Byrnes! =S XD Bad mistake.

Good, but needs fixing

Fix the grammar, and the reading of the text;
It *should* read like this:
"The crimes of the past, HAVE been erased with lies paid with gold. Death and madness can't be hidden" either "for too long" or "by time" or some other reference to make sense... "Time never spares the CRIMES" or "Time never spares the criminals". Haunted is pronounced Honted, XVII is pronounced Seventeenth, not Seventh. It's hard to tell specifically what you're trying to say in the parts I quoted, due to grammar.

On the positive side, I love the music and how you made a prequel to Lillium yet kept it original. Could you add the music to the credits? So far I've only found out that the song or one of the songs is called "In a Moonlight Procession" by Haggard.
Very good job.

Hmm...

The art in the beginning half of the video felt rushed, like it'd been tossed together in an effort to get it on here quicker. But it did get better as the video went on, and all in all it's a pretty decent prequel. Also, I agree with roashijr, the narration in the first sounded better, English is a bit too clumsy to use in this genre (ok, English is too clumsy no matter what it's used in, really). Anyway, s'good, keep up the good work~

It WAS great...

But the first one was much more dramatic!
