Reviews for "Megaman Zero:"

Nice work

I can see that alot of work went into this, but it wasn't a very fun game (monotonous)... I'm a fan of the Zero games but this is just a bit too slow paced. More music, weapon, and enemies are needed.

Well, it was ok.

That guy wsith that sword thingy on that 3rd level was WAY to quick, and then, when i finally beat got past hime, there was some MORE enmies. add some healing between levels, its like ou HAVE to die before you can make any real progress through the game...

its great, just SLOW THE ENEMIES DOWN!!!! and make Zero's sword like reflect, or stop the bullets, cause i got shot outta nowhere...
and make it so than only enemies on screen can attack, or was that a glitch...?

If...

If you're going to remake something that was good, don't make it bad. Enemies were TOO smart, no matter what the difficulty. They were also incredibly uick and would catch yo in pincer attacks often. You need to make checkpoints, as well as healing after every level. The plot is kinda stale, but the sound was good and so were the graphics. The controls were responsive and I thought the layout was okay. Just next time, try a bit harder, you certaintly have potential.

From a fan's point of view... Needs work.

Controls were a bit luggish for me, it might have been easier if you gave a control editor instead of given keys. Not only that, sprite styles were mixed, which is a big no-no, it would've been better to try using that 32-bit Light Armor X in the beginning. Enemies were limited, no replay value, and I spent five minutes with this one before I got bored. Story was also sounding like something I read from a fanfic a while ago, the fanfic I didn't like at all...

Nice touches I thought were the Light Armor X Mugshot, though recolored, and the endless loop from Zero's theme arrangement. Either than that... Not bad, but needs work, I suggest looking at MegaMan Zero Alpha, which was released by Flash Portal as well. (Ha, not breaking any promotion rules, it's related!) That one was a nice cleanup compared to this one, and the story is somewhat interelated to the Zero Series besides this one.

A good effort

Good try but there were several things wrong with the game, 1.Bosses were laughably easy 2.Controls were kinda funky it didn't capture the same gravity settings as all us Mega Man gamers have come to get used to. and 3.Music... why did it keep looping the same thing... AHHHHGH
