Reviews for "Bullet Bill"

A solid game.

This game has a great concept that reminds me of an old MegaMan flash where you play it through the eyes of the enemies.

Anyways, I liked the game a lot and you have tons of potential to add more in a sequel. Keep up the good work!

Good

I really enjoyed playing this. My only gripe is, i found an issue with collision detection. Some times when near a groud it reacts as if you hit it, when you know you did not.

S'funny...

...but the target audience for this 'tribute' game are now so old as to have reflexes so degraded that the game is well-nigh unplayable to them. :P

I like the setting, graphics, and even the music is repetitive in a way that doesn't annoy me (which worries me ;) but I simply cannot respond with sufficient haste to go more than a few minutes - haven't even SEEN the end of any stage. And the previous reviewer's opinion on memorization doesn't help: I've repeated enough to KNOW what's coming, but my hands still will not react quickly enough.

All in all, a good game that needs a MAJOR tweak for those worn-out old warhorses of us who have left their 'twitch-wristed' teens in the past...

I agree with the last guy....

His ideas were all in the right place and I agree with him.... He said many things that made much sense and were true... because if only people that made things could review them, then movie critics would not exist. But all in all it was a cool idea... I would be making games if i knew how to action script and what not but i dont even have flash. Good job, only downfall was. Too fast, not enough reaction time. And the sound got repetitive. I know its hard to get good music but making your own/ asking people to make it for you is the way to go. Good job 8/10

As already said...

The game is based a lot on memorization. I'm one of those players who doesn't mind twitch gaming but I do hate being required to memorize a level in order to complete it. The speed wouldn't be as bad if maybe you could have more time to react. I respect sprite graphics but they don't deserve too much praise. The sound also fit in nice, but music was a little repetitive after a while though.
One thing I get sick and tired of though, are people who say "You never made a game so you shouldn't review it/give it a bad score/etc. because you don't know the effort that goes into them." That arguement doesn't make sense, imagine what would happen if movies or games could only be reviewed by the developers themselves? Reviews are there for a reason, even if they aren't from a game maker. People make and submit games for the general audience to enjoy, they don't submit them to be critiqued by a select few fellow creators. In other words, saying that people who don't develop themselves have no right to review is utter BS, as they still enjoy or hate the title just as much as any other person
