wow invaderjim how the hell can u call illwillpress the greatest flash artist of our time? he isnt an artist... hes a comedian... there are tons of submissions on newgrounds with much better "artistry" than any foamy episode out there... im a fan of illwillpress but not a mindless slave to his corperate image... Personally I like rants, and I'm ok with racist jokes of any kind (even of my own race yeah).
I dont really agree with the IWP stuff, and I'm not a big fan but I laugh at some of them.
I do think this is actually a pretty good tutorial to get people started with flash though lol.
I give this a 3/5 and 6/10 cause I do like the mini-tutorial. Anything that gets people interested in making their own movies is good for me :P

You achieved your goal --- spending no time making this simple animation and receiving a higher score than IllWillPress and I had no problem helping you reach that goal. The topic is nothing new but you did a nice job putting it together. It's amazing how many people are Foamy fans, almost every review shows an overall rating of 2 or below. Where's their sense of humor? Your description of IllWillPress' process is pretty acurate, and he always receives high scores and has endless fans. Seems like the fans would realize this and be able to laugh at it, they know what they're watching. Hey, it's fine if you enjoy Foamy, but be realistic. On its own this animation wouldn't stand up very well, but considering the subject matter and the fact that it was deliberately done quickly and really couldn't be done anyother way, I gave it a higher score.

I think that you are right to show your point of view, but Foamy is funny sometimes. It's true that IWP is using racism a lot, but other than racism, he seems to ay things that completely agree with my opinion. Seen "Drugs in Your Head"? After 96 episodes, his animations are getting worse and worse. I remember the times when I looked forward to every episode... now it's crap. "Kosher Crackers" was really low. I think Foamy's still alright, but you weren't wrong any bit. I'd have more to say, but I'm outta time and I have trouble putting my thoughts into words.

Yes, motion tweens, trace-bitmapping, and a paintbrush tool are pretty simple. Damn that foamy and his simplicity! Yet I can't figure out which is worse, the fact that foamy is one of the most popular things on newgrounds by being so simple, or the fact that faomy beats out most of the clocks, just by being so simple.
I'm a fan of foamy (while I wouldn't be called a t-shirt wearing 'foamy fan'), and 7/10 of you robot-voiced clocks annoy me. You know what's really pathetic? Microsoft speech, three frames of a size-transformed circle for each word, and moving arrows to show who's talking.
It's not about the simplicity any more, it's about the excessive racism and the one frame movies. Fuck off unless you actually know what's going on on Newgrounds.
