Cool... twisted but cool!
Would be better if it had some credits so i could find out who did the great song. I got the story of it... i think. Animation was superb, music was great and the story (if its what i think it is) is sweet. Hopeto see more in the not so distant future.
Interesting, to say the least
Well, I loved your style and your graphics. The animation was crisp, clean, and professional. The music was awesome and just the whole thing as a piece of art was wonderful. As for the story or whatever that was... I didn't get it. At all. The made no sense and I was lost easily. I look forward to more from you, but I also hope that whatever else you produce has a bit more or a tangible storyline to it, or at least a reason that we can at least grasp. It was an artistic or poetic thing, it didn't come across... Sorry :(

I'm just being the X-factor here...
I'm not going to complain on the art (though you could work on your profiles), and I'm not going to complain about anything being crappily animated, because it wasn't. Everything was crisp as far as visual quality went. That's the reason why I bumped your score up to a 3. It's just... what the heck was that? There was no explanations, no tangible story, and thus no purpose. I just wan't entertained. The artwork and the presentation had me thinking that maybe something exciting was goign to happen. I see a woman with a hood on, obviously of villan-hood, and a man with floating crystals tied to his arm. Then, I get some poorly written text (your repetitive use of words, such as "he saw") telling me that he dies or something, and I don't even get to SEE it. With your obvious background of the arts, I'd figure you'd at least show me the whole thing, and I would've at least given you a 4 because that created a bit more sense of purpose. "Oh, oh, I guess he just wanted to animate some dude dying."
Maybe they're just metaphors? Are they visual poetry representing some sort of emotion, thought or message? Well, shit, I don't know.
Actually, I think your reading to much into whatever this animation was. Like I've said before, it was my first truely finished animation, and the whole purpose was to ANIMATE. I stuck in so little story because that was not part of the project objective for the class I did this in. It was merely to demonstrate animating ability and working with flash. That is all.
And just for my purposes it was the way it was just to get the reaction I just got from you.
"What the hell was that?? Can I see more?"
So hopefully, with my new animation, I can get more story in instead of all the motion that is needed to pass the class. And then some things will be explained.

You have drawing talent and a good sense of framing and camera angle to acheive atmosphere and dramatic effects. Your use of color indicates a knowledge and command of natural tonalities, not the usual gaudy easter-egg hues so often seen on NG. I encorage you to continue developing your craft, you have real potential!
