Nice Try
There are a lot of things that say this is your first real flash submission, and you did fairly well with your first try. The music was slightly annoying though, but good job. I hope this dose survive and make it to the portal.

Impressive for a "first" flash
Ok, so the graphics could be better, who cares. They were fine for the story. I liked the story, it was even believable in some way. Can imagine that if you've never done something wrong, this can have quite an impact. Allthough, seriously, the helping-old-ladies-cross-the-street part was waaay to sappy. :)
Also, towards the ending, there was too little time to read the text. Slow down the framerate a little, or let the text last longer.
Oh yeah, and that last sentence, it starts with well-behaved, but ends with well behaved. It may sound stupid, but after such a sad story, a small mistake like that gave me a little laugh. You may want to change it :)

Yes the old lady bit was cheesey. But it was originally supposed to be a sappy childrens book kinda thing. Yeah, I'll fix that hyphen thing as well.
