Probably the number one song I will play to lull my child to sleep. So beautiful and relaxing. The only thing that could make this any better would be to post the sheet music. Or tabs.. or how ever you roll =p
so here is the background/newground (lol) with me and this song. about 10 years ago or so i was asleep on the couch in my living room, being i lived in a trailer it was also my bedroom. my older brother would usually wake me up in my sleep angry nerd raging at diablo 2 but there was one night where things were different. my older brother decided to game on newgrounds. he played Colour my life while i was asleep initiating one of the strangest dreams ive ever had. i will shorten the story by saying i was in a forest, during the twilight hour with glistening foliage and sparkling lights floating thru the air. i was not alone ut rather on some scavanger hunt with other people my age. the music from this game playing in my dream the entire time but as we wondered the sound got louder. i eventually looked at the nearest person to me (whose likeness i couldnt match to anyone in my current memory) and asked what is that sound? they said "shhhhh. it sounds like someone is taking a close up of a caterpillar on a leaf." the rest of my dream was a close up video of a caterpillar inching on a leaf in the twilight with dew on the leaves and fireflies glowing in the background with other magical aspects. i have come back to this 10 years later to tell the world i have not forgotten that this is the official "caterpillar on a leaf" song
