Oh, the reviews!
Man, games like this crack me up because they can be so simple and only be entertaining on one play through, but so many people bitch about the topic more than the game itself! XD
First of all: this game does not offend me. I've seen worse things here, I've kinda gone numb to it....that, and I have a fascination with blood, gore, and other kinds of disturbing violence. This intrigued me because, well....c'mon, look at the name of the game! That's an eye-catcher all its own!
Graphics were okay, though they looked like cut-outs of art you'd get from an old 90's Macintosh educational game. Blood effect was alright, at least it wasn't overly-dramatic, and a bit more realistic. Last I checked, my blood didn't spurt like a geyser when I got cut in a 'blood focus' spot of my body.
The style was beautiful enough, I mean, the creator's already notoriously famous judging by the reviews, and he'll probably stay that was for a couple days or more.
No sound. 'Nuff said.
Violence was alright, but, eh....as I said, I've seen and written far, far worse. For some reason, written descriptions of a gory act can lead a disturbed mind to make the original mental picture of the scene so, SO much more gruesome....anyways.
Interactivity? Duh, it's a game! The basics, though only moving left and right got boring fast. I just wanted to complete it to see the ending message.
Humor was friggin' awesome, not just because of the little messages the creator left in the game and stuff, such as right before the main menu came up, but because of all the reviews. All you emo dumbasses crack me up, talking about your friends, yourself, family, etc., who cut themselves, like anyone's REALLY gonna give a shit? Priceless. I'll make sure to see your names on here someday and point at my screen and laugh in mock-pity.
Overall it was alright, but some proper coding would be nice. Game could've been so much better, but the topic of the game itself was wonderful, seeing how it attracted so much attention. X)
