Let's all agree with captian capitalism, spend! spend! spend! Like our crumbling stock market. We continue to spend and what does our government do with it? spend it. That's why we neveeer get any better as a country. But, if we spend enough, the guys up there might just finally say, "Hey let's save some money!" So keep spending people!
Funny movie but
I generally dislike the Ren and Stimpy style but this movie was funny all the same.
Why would a guy like Captain Capitalism advocate against saving money? What he says could be true of a piggy bank but not a real bank. Storing money in an interest generating account is effectively a loan to the bank that provides the money that the lend to other people who invest it in things like houses and businesses. Saving money in a bank or even putting it into the stock market multiplies money. It allows capital to grow. If anything, saving money is quintessentially capitalist.
