Hahaha
I don't have a DS so I don't really have any basis on which to complain when it comes to that, but I like the game. A LOT.
Is it a Nintendo DS game?
Music was a little repetitive, the gameplay got a little choppy and caused me to waste fuel and lose, occasionaly (Frustration ensued! ARG) but otherwise, GREAT GAME! ^^;;
Better then most DS games!
I'm not kidding when I'm saying this was better then most DS games. I got a DS when they first came out and I only have three games. There is only like 3 or 4 games that are "must haves" on the thing right now. To the guy who posted before me: that's sad man. I used to be just like you. A Nintendo fan boy all the way who wouldn't buy a system unless Nintendo made it. Don't worry though, there are support groups to help. They're called PS2.
:-)
That was a brilliant game!!!!!!! Now I dont need to buy a DS! I just add this to my favourites and play it anytime! lol! You should make other games for it! :-) lol!
Brilliant Well Done!
Always felt the original was one of the more underrated of Mausland's games but then I had no idea this version with much slicker presentation existed. Only 1 thing holds this game back from its full potential as a risk/reward-type arcade game and that's the gas can RNG, pretty much the only reason you'll ever lose is the game throwing you 2-3 screens in a row with no gas can which is way too long a stretch for how quick your fuel runs out. 2 things I think could've fixed this, either hardcoding the RNG to always spawn a gas can after every empty screen or better yet, since there's a level up mechanic in this version, make levelling up give you longer fuel time so you can keep the tension of having to run across multiple screens while making it a fairer build-up in challenge. Otherwise if this were like a $5 indie game with more content/polish I'd actually buy it.
