Reviews for "Chamber Of Seasons"

Rubber Ninja.... you silly bastard

Alright , that voices for the cyborgs where great. I dont know why but for some reason I really liked them. But the plot is a little shakey and I dont get why Ice and Fire where the only good elements and why Forest and uh.... forest? Where such pussies. It sort of seems like you made two really bad ass cyborgs and then half ass-ed the other two. I really liked the reasoning for making this vid. the whole everyone calling them selves artists and then your off in the corner making explosive noises and robot fights. I got a kick out of that whole thought. Anyways , Silly but good , keep it up you silly silly bastard.

RubberNinja responds:

macklack.

....

Not sure why this is on front page. First off a cyborg would involve being part human and part robot. Therefor you can't nececcarily "create" a cyborg. Also, elements and seasons are two different things.

Wasn't that impressed, the animation was pretty good. But really short and rather boring. Good idea, bad approach

RubberNinja responds:

BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRR WRONG. Organic machinery is possible to create. Scientist have been researching into the development of Organic computers. The Season Cyborgs are obviously genetically developed with machine enhancements. As for the elements and the seasons, technically speaking they could be related. If you look along the lines of Winter controlling rain (water), Summer controlling heat (fire) and so on. If you had control of all the seasons, you would somewhat have control of all the elements, to a extent.

Not bad for a short deadline.

I like the basic concept. Even though I believe the robots should not have accents or even voices at all, the points had to be made and that was probably the only way to do it without subtitles. Subtitles with strange robotic languages would have been funky, IMO...

Otherwise, it was done fast and it was done fairly well, the music was good and kept the action fierce despite some simple motions (tweens) by the cyborgs. I liked it, but I think the next episode will be a lot better since you don't have a deadline this time...

So says Dr. Manhattan...

O.O

You make some great flash...

If you died somehow in some freak accident like right now, i would seriously cry.

Loved the mix of FBF and tweening.

If the made a spring doll, i would so buy one... Haha.

Thanks for putting effort and time in making flash, I respect you for that. You don't throw together little shit and and submit a new crappy flash to NG every week. *Cough*Illwill*Cough*

Im looking forward to your original work. With a mind like yours, you'll go places.

RubberNinja responds:

I'll be sure to tell you if I get killed any time soon.

Pretty good...

Pretty good, I must say. I notice a progressive improvement in your animation and art techniques in comparisson to your earlier submissions, which is wonderful to see.

As a stand-alone entry, it seems quite obscure. It seems to me as though this would be a part of a series (as in NOT the first episode). It was also quite short for my liking, or was that your attempt at a cliff-hanger?? Meh... In either case, the quality of your submission is evident, and it is a good animation.

On a side note, you seem to be responding to the reviews, so may I ask when Van Helthing 2 is coming out? I have been anxiously awaiting that one for a while now!

RubberNinja responds:

Well considering this is somewhat of a original work, it's not getting as much publicity as lets say a Final Fantasy Parody.. So I decided to make a effort to respond to the reviews.

Van Helthing 2 is like............... Something I started a long time ago, but I still haven't done more then half of it. I will try to make a effort to get it out next year.. But I am getting TSAH2 out of the way, because it's the last VG parody I ever want to touch.
