Alright effort. Kinda like some Dreamcast game
This game is sweet! altough it could use something that helps you a little when you are stuck and don't know were to go. The QT events are pretty cool. All in all, a good Shenmue clone!

No this is one of the best peices of Flash I've ever seen/played....I mean hats off to you guys in Sweden.....And I thought that only good thing to have come out of Sweden was the Swedish Bikini team ; )! Definately better then The Mario Vs Sonic peices that have been popping....And to all of the idiots out there who say this is a "Fucking Ripoff".....Go tell them all to Bugger off, ya bunch of Wankers! This is alot more original then most of the Portal items out there....Plus it has the added bonus of being like one of favorite games, Shenmue.....Man when you were talking to the guy in the Pub and one of the responses was "I'm looking for Sailors" I nearly blew milk from my nose!

Impressive & Ambitious
Very original game concept; most Newgrounds games are shooters, a "safe" genre as far as games go, as not much can go into the game specifics, so that the graphics and slickness can be more concentrated on (example: the good but overrated XIAOXIAO #4, which is simply amazing the first play, but quickly becomes boring). Creating a game in the style of Shenmue is more risky, because there must be a story, and this story is strange, but done well. The concept of time and things changing my time works a lot better than I thought it could in Flash, and the only real problems I have are that the inventory items can't be used (bug?), and, like in Shenmue, killing time sucks. Excellent work... ambition has paid off! Hope to see a complete version soon.

i liked where ben's mom did nothing but drool, and i also liked the first bus driver, mr. horny.
the crabby one was kinda decent, and i could tell this originated from the Swedes because of the 100-kronor bill ben pulls out from the envelope with the word "Sverige," which is Swedish for Sweden. getting off that shit, the only thing i didn't like about the game was the depressing music in the police station. neostone, when you make the full version of this game (that is, if you do), please edit out the music in the cop station, and put different sounds in it, such as a cop radioeing a patrol car, or some cop shit.

I don't know what Shenmue is, but this is a good game. I can't believe it's only a demo! Some parts were weird though, like when i gambled and my money was over a thousand, the last number was cut off. And what's with Ben's "mum"?
